The EVENT-30A is a compact, symmetrical, self-powered two-way line array system designed to deliver high acoustic performance with exceptional ease of use. Combining lightweight construction with advanced control and reliability, it provides a versatile solution for a wide range of professional sound reinforcement applications.

Its reinforced polypropylene enclosure, both robust and lightweight, houses two 10″ neodymium transducers and two M-60 (1.75″) compression drivers coupled to a high-precision waveguide. The symmetrical “V” transducer configuration ensures consistent horizontal coverage of 90º down to 200 Hz, while the waveguide controls vertical dispersion and guarantees precise coupling between units in vertical arrays. The integrated amplifier module includes a dedicated rain cover, providing additional protection for the electronics in adverse weather conditions.

The EVENT-30A incorporates Smart Self Tuning, an intelligent alignment technology that automatically optimizes system performance within a line array. Using infrared sensor detection, each unit identifies its position in the array and communicates with the other enclosures. The system determines the total number of cabinets, detects the top and bottom units, and recognizes the exact position of each enclosure, automatically loading the appropriate presets, including long throw and short throw modes. This process ensures correct system behavior without manual configuration, significantly reducing setup time and potential errors.

Its 24-bit DSP integrates FIR processing to deliver flat-phase response, full compatibility with other models in the series (EVENT-26A and EVENT-28A), and exceptional clarity and definition. Combined with the DAScontrol™ interface, Smart Self-Tuning provides precise control and a streamlined workflow for both touring and rental applications.

Powered by a high-efficiency Class D amplifier with a universal switch-mode power supply, the EVENT-30A delivers 2000 W peak power and achieves a maximum linear sound pressure level of 138 dB (AES75), ensuring consistent and reliable performance in demanding professional environments.

The Fast Set Splay (FSS™) rigging system allows fast and accurate selection of splay angles directly from the transport dolly. Manufactured in steel, it supports arrays of up to 24 units and offers adjustment in 1º increments between 0º and 10º.

Designed to operate seamlessly with the EVENT-S218A subwoofer, the EVENT-30A forms a powerful and controlled full-range system. Weighing only 26.5 kg (58.4 lbs), it combines power, advanced technology, and portability in a reliable solution for medium to large events, fixed installations, and professional rental applications.
