Introduction: Diverse projects in a demanding market

Brazil has established itself as one of the most dynamic markets in the professional audio industry, with a wide variety of venues requiring solutions tailored to very different needs. From large-format churches hosting thousands of attendees to historic theatres and cultural spaces, each project presents specific challenges in terms of coverage, intelligibility and architectural integration.

In this context, sound system design requires a flexible approach capable of adapting both to highly reverberant environments and to spaces demanding precise reproduction for music and speech content. The diversity of applications and the demands of the market make it essential to rely on versatile solutions, as well as local partners capable of understanding the particularities of each environment and supporting project development from both a technical and commercial perspective.

Harmonia Musical: evolution and specialization in professional audio

With more than 30 years of experience, Harmonia Musical has established itself as one of the leading distributors in Brazil’s professional audio market. With a presence in Goiás, Anápolis and Brasilia-DF, the company focuses on the distribution, specification and technical support of professional sound solutions for churches, theatres, cultural venues and entertainment projects throughout the country.

Founded in 1991 by Francisco Cunha and Nelma Cunha, the company initially operated as a musical instrument distributor. As the market evolved, its business model gradually shifted towards a stronger focus on professional audio, incorporating a specialised team, expanding its catalogue with international brands and strengthening its capacity to support larger-scale projects alongside integrators, installers and specialised companies.

Throughout this growth process, the relationship with DAS AUDIO developed progressively, particularly from 2015 onwards, coinciding with the brand’s expansion in the Brazilian market. Since 2017, when direct imports began, DAS AUDIO solutions have become a regular presence in projects developed through Harmonia Musical across different market segments.

“From the very first projects, we saw a very positive response from the market. The systems made a strong impact thanks to their performance, reliability and highly competitive value for money”, explains Thiago Cunha, CEO of Harmonia Musical.
