The National Festival Election Song for Eurosong is a music competition in which emerging artists present their proposals and compete for the best song of the year in Kosovo. It is a televised event that brings together audiences both on-site and at home around new voices and original compositions. This year’s edition was held from 5 to 8 November at the Youth and Sport Center in Pristina with 8000 spectators.
The technical production of the festival was carried out by BMS Sarajevo, Enea Electronic Albania and AMC Kosovo, who coordinated the planning, setup and operation of the sound system throughout the four days of the event. The system had to respond both to the audience in the venue and to the demands of the television broadcast, a dual objective that defined the entire technical approach.
The main system consisted of 16 LARA and 12 LARA-SUB, reinforced with six SARA and four SARA-SUB to expand coverage in the mid and lateral areas. In addition, two LARA and four SARA were added as in-fills to ensure a uniform response in the front rows and near the stage.
According to Enea Haxhijosifi, from Enea Electronic, “the cardioid technology of the LARA systems made it possible to reduce unwanted energy at the back and achieve clearer sound for television”.
The precision and control of the systems used contributed to the gala being delivered with clear and consistent sound throughout the venue.
