MIA-X12.75

MIA-X12.75 is a 2-way passive coaxial point source system designed to deliver accurate and controlled sound performance in applications where focused coverage and high output capability are required. It features a high-performance 12” coaxial transducer, providing excellent phase coherence and a balanced response across the audible spectrum, with a frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 131 dB.

Unlike wide-coverage point source systems, MIA-X12.75 is equipped with a narrow, asymmetric high-frequency waveguide offering a nominal coverage of 70° x 50°. The waveguide can be rotated, allowing the coverage pattern to be adapted to the requirements of each installation while maintaining precise dispersion control in both horizontal and vertical mounting positions. This focused dispersion pattern helps control acoustic energy with precision and reduce spill outside the coverage area.

The high-frequency waveguide has been designed using finite element analysis (FEA) software to optimize coverage consistency and ensure accurate, controlled high-frequency dispersion across the defined coverage area.

The coaxial loudspeaker employs a 12” low-frequency driver with a 3” voice coil combined with a high-frequency compression driver featuring a 2.5” voice coil. This large voice coil architecture provides very high sensitivity and enables the system to deliver high maximum SPL with stable, controlled response.

With a nominal impedance of 8 Ω, MIA-X12.75 allows up to 4 systems to be connected per amplifier channel, optimizing amplifier channel usage. In addition, its 400 W RMS and 1600 W peak power handling reinforce its output capability in a compact format.

The system is manufactured from high-quality birch plywood with a durable polyurea paint finish. Its multi-angle design allows for flexible mounting in a wide variety of installation configurations, while the black finish enables discreet aesthetic integration into professional installations.

The system is equipped with M5 fixing points on the rear panel, allowing the use of dedicated mounting accessories for wall and/or ceiling installation. These accessories enable precise adjustment of both horizontal and vertical aiming angles, ensuring optimal coverage in each project.
