South Korean universities rely on DAS AUDIO

Two university venues in South Korea have relied on DAS AUDIO to upgrade their sound systems and adapt them to academic activities, live events and multi-purpose uses.SOVICOSYSTEM has brought our systems to Soongsil University’s Hyungnam Hall and Inha University Gymnasium, 2 venues with different requirements but a shared objective: delivering clear, reliable sound coverage tailored to each space.

At Hyungnam Hall, located at Soongsil University in Seoul, the project was carried out in February 2026 and includes 6 VANTEC-20A line array systems supported by 2 VANTEC-118A subwoofers. The system is completed with 4 ACTION-508A units used as delay speakers and 2 ACTION-M512A stage monitors, creating a complete solution for lectures, ceremonies, performances and university events.

The Hyungnam Hall installation follows a previous positive experience with our systems at the university, where SOVICOSYSTEM had already installed a VANTEC-20A system in another auditorium on campus. The technical team’s satisfaction with the performance of VANTEC-20A played a key role in moving forward with this new project featuring a more complete configuration of our systems.

The second project took place in March 2026 at Inha University Gymnasium, where SOVICOSYSTEM installed 4 ACTION-512A powered systems distributed between the front and rear areas of the venue. The solution was designed to provide clear and consistent sound for academic activities, sports events and other functions typical of a multi-purpose university space.

With these projects, DAS AUDIO continues expanding its presence in South Korea together with SOVICOSYSTEM, providing versatile and scalable sound solutions for venues that require reliability, uniform coverage and the flexibility to adapt to different types of events.
