ALMA awarded at the MID Tech awards

On November 27, the third edition of the MID Tech Awards took place, an event that once again celebrated the best of the live entertainment industry — a sector distinguished by its talent, dedication and constant capacity for innovation. In this context, ALMA was recognized as Featured New Technology Product, an award that reinforces its role as a benchmark tool in the management of professional sound systems.

The MID Tech Awards are structured into 13 categories, distributed across three blocks that cover everything from the most outstanding productions of the year to the most relevant technological solutions in sound, lighting, video, new technologies, and rigging. Additionally, they include special recognitions dedicated to professionals whose career and commitment have decisively contributed to the advancement of the sector.

The gala, held during the open days of Fluge Audiovisuales, gathered some of the most influential projects and productions on the current scene. Among the awardees were Mad Cool Festival, chosen as Best Festival; Wicked, The Musical, awarded as Best Theatrical or Musical Show and currently sound‑reinforced with DAS Audio systems; Aitana’s “Metamorfosis” tour, recognized as Best Tour; and Riyadh Air Metropolitan, honored as Best Venue. The presence of undertakings of such magnitude underlines the prestige of awards that distinguish the technical and creative excellence of live entertainment.

In this context, the recognition for ALMA is framed within the growing importance of tools that allow optimizing technical work in increasingly demanding audiovisual environments. Its focus on reliability, precise monitoring and operational efficiency has consolidated it as an ally for engineers, integrators and rental companies who need to manage complex systems with guarantees.

The award was accepted by Manuel Peris, CEO of DAS Audio, on behalf of the team responsible for developing ALMA. For DAS Audio, this accolade reaffirms the company’s commitment to technological innovation applied to the sound experience and the work of live entertainment professionals.
