On 7 October, the city of Rosario celebrated its 300 years of history with a mass event that brought more than 200,000 people together in Parque Nacional a la Bandera, on the banks of the Paraná River. The day, organised by the Ministry of Culture of Santa Fe, featured performances by the Rosario Symphony Orchestra and the acclaimed local singer Nicki Nicole.
The sound for the event was provided by Marti Audio, a Rosario-based company with more than two decades of experience in professional sound solutions. Founded by Ariel Marti, the company has established itself as a benchmark in Argentina, offering technical services for concerts, festivals and official productions.
For this event, Marti Audio deployed 48 LARA, 40 LARA-SUB and 24 SARA units from DAS Audio, acquired in 2024 to reinforce their professional sound-solution offering. The LARA series systems, with their cardioid design, offered precise control of sound dispersion, significantly reducing on-stage noise and improving intelligibility in the audience area.
The collaboration with Tevelam, the official distributor of DAS Audio in Argentina, was essential to the success of the project. Marti emphasised: “Tevelam isn’t just a supplier. They’re a partner. They’re always there, with advice, technical support, available stock. That gives you the confidence to face any challenge”.
The concert was broadcast by streaming and shown on giant screens, receiving major media attention. Marti recalled: “We were sounding for a quarter of a million people. The challenge was immense, but the system responded perfectly”.
“People get emotional with the music. We work so that that emotion is heard the way it has to sound”, he stated.
The project consolidated Marti Audio’s trust in DAS Audio technology and highlighted the importance of the joint work with Tevelam. Marti summed up: “Without that triangle, we couldn’t do the work we do. It’s teamwork”, before concluding: “You can have the best musicians, the best stage… but if the sound isn’t there, everything falls apart. And we know that with DAS, the sound is always there”.
