At DAS AUDIO, we operate under a responsible production model in which sustainability and resource optimization are key pillars. In this context, we give a second life to surplus wood from our manufacturing processes by integrating it into initiatives that generate a positive environmental and social impact.

Through our collaboration with vocational training centers such as LABORA, Integrated VET Centers and secondary schools (IES), we supply wood offcuts and surplus materials that are no longer part of our production processes but still retain full value for training purposes. This practice aligns with the principles of the circular economy, reducing waste and extending the lifecycle of the wood.

One of these centers is IES Tirant lo Blanc in Gandía, specifically the vocational training department for Wood, Furniture and Cork. There, students work with this material as part of their training, applying technical knowledge in a practical environment. As their teachers state, “working with wood from an industrial environment brings enormous value to the learning process, as students face situations very similar to those they will encounter in their professional future”.

This approach allows us to reduce our environmental impact while actively contributing to the training of new generations of professionals. A way to connect our industrial activity with talent development and move towards a more sustainable model.
