Introduction
A landmark restaurant-club in the heart of Yerevan
Located on the historic Amiryan Street, in the heart of Yerevan, KATSIN Restaurant & Dining Bar is one of the most unique and dynamic venues in the Armenian capital. Conceived as a hybrid space between restaurant and club, KATSIN combines a refined gastronomic offering with a vibrant atmosphere where music and dancing also take centre stage.
Opened in 2020, the venue stands out for its contemporary concept, focusing on high-quality meats and international cuisine. Its interior design features noble materials such as wood, metal and natural stone, creating a warm, elegant atmosphere with a strong sense of personality.
More than just a restaurant, KATSIN is a place to be enjoyed without haste. From the early hours of the day until late at night, the space offers different experiences in a single setting: sophisticated dinners, cocktails, live shows, and DJ sessions that define the most energetic moments of the evening.
Quickly becoming a reference point both for locals and newcomers, KATSIN reflects the new face of a capital city that continues to evolve while staying connected to its roots.
Challenge
Versatility without compromising on style
The main challenge of the project was to find a sound solution that could smoothly adapt to the dual nature of the venue. During the day and early evening, KATSIN operates as an elegant restaurant where music should subtly accompany the dining experience without overwhelming it. However, as the night progresses, the atmosphere shifts and music takes on a leading role: the same space that hosts quiet dinners becomes a lively dance area with DJ sets and live performances.
This transformation within the same space required a versatile system—one capable of delivering detailed, controlled sound at low volumes, while also offering power, impact, and uniform coverage during high-energy moments. In addition, the venue’s carefully designed interior—with its noble materials and refined aesthetic—called for loudspeakers that could be discreetly integrated without disrupting the visual harmony of the space.
All of this had to be achieved without compromising the customer experience at any stage of the day and allowing easy control by the venue’s own team.
Solution
ARTEC and QUANTUM; performance and discretion
To meet the various demands of the project, a distributed sound system was designed and carefully tailored to the layout and usage of the space. The installation combined loudspeakers from the ARTEC and QUANTUM series, taking advantage of the specific strengths of each model.
The ARTEC-510, known for its reliability and performance, served as the backbone of the system, providing even coverage and excellent sound quality during both ambient music moments and more intense periods. Its ability to deliver clarity and punch at higher volumes made it ideal for supporting the transition to a more festive atmosphere.
Meanwhile, the Q-23-T and Q-10A models from the QUANTUM series were installed in various areas thanks to their compact, discreet, and elegant design. Weighing less than 3 kg and featuring a carefully finished aesthetic, these loudspeakers preserved the visual harmony of the space without sacrificing sound quality. The Q-10A subwoofers completed the system, adding the necessary impact for the DJ sessions and live music that take place during the night.
The result was a versatile, balanced, and visually integrated installation, able to adapt to the venue’s changing needs without compromising design or sound experience.

The installation carried out by Four Stage at KATSIN Restaurant has enhanced the versatile and sophisticated character of this landmark venue in the heart of Yerevan. Thanks to the choice of discreet yet powerful systems, the sound accompanies each moment of the day with the right intensity—from a relaxed dinner to a night of music and dancing.
The result is a technically solid and visually discreet installation, in harmony with the venue’s architecture. The sound system not only meets the functional requirements of the space but also blends seamlessly with its style.
