Third European Seminar
Twenty professionals from Europe, Africa and Middle East attended this event
The D.A.S. Audio's Exportation Department held another European Seminar this past June, the third the company has hosted in their headquarters in Valencia. Part of the ongoing audio professional training policy that D.A.S. has implemented over the last few years, these seminars have received tremendous reception worldwide. Twenty-some of these professionals from diverse locations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East attended this most recent event.
Over the course of the two-day session attendees from places as disparate as Finland, the Ivory Coast, Lebanon, the Ukraine and Qatar toured the D.A.S. facilities to observe the system design and production process. The group later received a detailed hand out outlining everything related to sound measurement and acoustic simulation systems, line array system theory and functioning, digital signal processor handling, temporary system alignment and subwoofer unit configuration.
As at past seminars, Javier Navarro, Technical Director of the company and Eva Argadoña, Immaculada Herrera and Joan La Roda, from D.A.S. Audio´s Engineering Department, took care of the seminar´s technical sections. Additionally, the company's Marketing Director Robert Giner gave a talk about various aspects of D.A.S.´s web site and its features, highlighting the D.A.S. extranet, a useful tool the company has made available to its clients.
The finishing touch was put on the event as attendees witnessed firsthand the different practical aspects learned over the course of the seminar: Aero Series2 line array series systems were set up in D.A.S. Audio's impressive auditorium and attendees were treated to an audio demonstration of all that these systems have to offer.
