The NAMM 09 Show
The D.A.S. stand showcased the brand new Avant series
The audio-visual industry's largest annual event in the US, the 107th edition NAMM Show was held from January 15th to 18th in the sunny Californian town of Anaheim. D.A.S Audio, S.A. was there presenting its products alongside the firm's US affiliate D.A.S. Audio of America, Inc. located at Booth 6878 in Hall A. The NAMM show is the premier showcase for industry manufacturers to exhibit thousands of their latest professional audio, lighting and computer assisted music products. Such an occasion called for the presence of the entire D.A.S. Audio of America team, including Jaime Villegas, Ramon Franco, Kevin Hill and Gonzalo Aguirre, joined by Sound Engineer, Javier Navarro and Export Director, Jack Palacio who both flew over from Valencia, Spain especially for this major event.
The D.A.S. stand showcased the whole range of products from the Arco, Reference, Artec, Variant and Aero series, the LX-218A subwoofer system as well as the brand new Avant series which provides pro-audio professionals with a surprisingly easy to use, high performance and amazingly powerful system. According to Jack Palacio, "The new Avant series created a great deal of interest especially among clients from the Caribbean, South and Central America as well as the US since it is a portable, powered, high performance system."
He adds, "Despite the international global crisis and fewer visitors to the show than last year, the unveiling of the Avant series really helped to make this event a great success for D.A.S." NAMM visitors enjoyed all types of music performances as well as all kinds of other activities that took place outside of show hours in the surrounds of the convention over the weekend. This year the singer Oya performed live at the D.A.S. booth using Variant 112A and Variant 18A systems.
