The Dead Sea Congress Center
One of the best examples of the larger government projects taken on by INTE
International New Technical Est. (INTE) was responsible for an impressive audio-visual installation at the King Hussein Bin Talal Congress Center, also know as the Dead Sea Congress Center. Nine salons have been outfitted with a variety of D.A.S. Sound Products.
Specifically speaking about audio, INTE employed D.A.S. Dynamics, Compact and Pf series acoustic systems, primarily DS-115 and Sub-118 for the main congress hall. Powered Compact 2 systems have been installed as mobile units, for use through out the Congress Center where ever sound reinforcement is needed. The Pf-115 passive two-way systems were used to provide stage monitoring. The systems were chosen with versatility in mind in order to handle the wide range of events held in the congress center.
According to Sami Nazzal, Project Director at INTE, "The work opportunities in Jordan today are immense thanks to its geopolitical situation and the cash flowing into the region from the Gulf countries. The large number of hotel being built and the development of other government projects that require audio-visual systems has increased the demands for our services. Now we are concentrating on larger projects as in the past, we worked under a lot of pressure from taking so many small projects."
is the magnificent congress center capable of handling any type of convention, exposition or corporate event. Situated about 45 km. from the Jordanian capital of Amman, the surface are exceeds 5,500 square meters divided into 30 halls and terraces conditioned and equipped with the latest audiovisual technologies providing great flexibility and functionality. INTE confided the audio to D.A.S. combining products effectively, providing quality, ease of use and flexibility.
