D.A.S. Audio recently attended its first Rio Music Conference, the largest gathering for the electronic music and nightlife industry in South America, celebrated from January 27-29 at the Porto Maravilha complex in Rio de Janeiro. Represented by its subsidiary D.A.S. Audio do Brasil, the company took advantage of this three-day event to introduce its groundbreaking Sound Force series of systems, designed for today’s high-level dance venues, as well as a selection of the Vantec Series, Event line arrays and the latest addition to the successful Aero Series 2, the compact Aero 20A line array.

The Rio Music Conference features a three-day program for music and entertainment professionals that includes numerous seminars, workshops, debates and panels, with topics this year ranging from music in the public space and women in dance music. One of the most highly anticipated workshops on this year’s program, which is packed with some of the biggest names in the industry, was D.A.S. Audio’s launch of its Sound Force systems in Brazil.

The Sound Force loudspeaker range was designed for today’s high-level dance venues where powerful and exceptional sound is a must. The superb power of these systems is matched by a striking visual design and custom color scheme that adapts to any club’s décor. The four models in the Sound Force range can be combined with D.A.S. D-100 four-channel amps and D.A.S. DSP digital signal processors for top-of-the-line performance and reliability.

The powerhouse of the series is the revolutionary SF-30A. This powered subwoofer breaks all the rules of traditional subwoofer design with a unique moving magnet that goes beyond conventional concepts of physics. Instead of the traditional magnetic coil arrangement, the SF-30A incorporates a set of high-power neodymium magnets that move linearly, along with a high-density 30” polyethylene cone that can reach amazing peaks of 300 kg of force.
