The "Prolight & Sound" show, held at Frankfurt am Main Exhibition Centre from 1-4 April, was yet another success despite the current international financial situation. The great popularity of the world's most important event in the music and professional audio industry, as well as the large number of visitors -even higher than last year's event - have raised new hopes amidst the crisis. "Prolight & Sound" 2009 brought together the world's most prestigious manufacturers and was once again the event of the year in an ever-changing market.
, the Aero Series 2. This includes the new Aero 50, a large-format system following up from the highly successful Aero 48, and the Aero 12A, a compact line array system with the latest in Class D amplification, digital signal processing and optimized D.A.S. components. The world debut of the Avant series portable sound systems, offering best-in-class performance and unprecedented power - and all this with surprising ease of use - was another key feature at D.A.S Audio's stand.
D.A.S. Audio's Engineer, Javier Navarro, officially unveiled the new products to clients and distributors alike, and also introduced Pablo Seoane, the company's new engineer for the development and manufacture of loudspeakers.
Sales representatives from the firm's Export Department, the Engineering Department and the Marketing Team all flew from Valencia to Frankfurt, while staff from the company's American and Asian subsidiaries also attended the international event. They were all available to deal with customers and visitors from all over the world at a large stand which enjoyed high commercial activity.
One more year, "Prolight & Sound" made Germany the meeting point for audio, lighting and showbiz people. And just as in previous years, those coming to Messe Frankfurt could see for themselves how technology develops to be at the service of sound and lighting professionals.
