PALME Thailand 2012

D.A.S. Audio was present at PALME Thailand 2012 in Bangkok

D.A.S. Audio was present at PALME THAILAND 2012, Thailand’s International Exhibition for Pro Audio, Lighting, AV, Broadcast, Systems Integration and Installation Technologies. This event took place at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok. D.A.S. Audio subsidiary office’s team in Singapore travelled to Thailand to organize the details of its participation in this event.

The booth was conceived and designed as a real concert scenario in order to showcase D.A.S. Audio touring line of products, especially the active mid-size line array Aero 12A. This impressive realistic set up was enhanced with a special addition: a daily live acoustic set, performed by “The Slipping Chairs” from Sri Lanka.

D.A.S. Audio Asia worked together with its main rental company in the country, Works International, with a large inventory of D.A.S. Audio systems: from the large format Aero 50 to the extremely portable Avant Series models. All audio and lighting systems, including truss structures displayed during the trade show were part of Works International inventory. Watchman Productions, D.A.S. Audio main dealer in Bangkok and Chiang Mai areas took an active part in the show too.

Juan Luis Garcia, Managing Director of D.A.S. Audio Asia :“The idea behind this design was to get as close as possible to a live event scenario, inclusive of a live band to make an impression on the professional and commercial audio industry in Thailand. We even had a rental company who brought its expertise together with our system to set up the truss and the concert-styled lighting. The final touch though was provided by our Systems Engineer in Singapore, Ron Koh, resulting in a great sound for a great show for D.A.S. Audio.”
