Seminars in the Middle East

D.A.S. Audio held two seminars in Dubai and Kuwait

D.A.S. Audio continues to foster ongoing audio professional training and recently held two seminars in the Middle East. The first, held at Dubai’s World Trade Center as part of the Infocomm Middle East & Africa 2012 tradeshow, was included in a three-day series of conferences organized by the tradeshow that were attended by hundreds of regional professionals.

Representing D.A.S. Audio was Systems Engineer Joel Damiano, who discussed the main considerations to keep in mind when making acoustic simulation predictions and the differences that crop up later in situ. His speech “Simulations and Predictions VS the Real World” clearly explains the nuances to weigh between simulations carried out with EASE Focus and the later real measurements technicians make on-site once the systems are flown and configured.

D.A.S. Audio also visited Kuwait to host a seminar organized by Al Alamiah Professionals for General Trading & Contracting Co., the brand’s distributer in the country. The event was held in Kuwait City and was attended by close to 40 professionals from the sound and audiovisual industry. Jack Palacio, head of D.A.S. Audio’s Export Department, gave a presentation on the latest D.A.S. products and a brief description of the company’s website. The floor was then given over to Joel Damiano, who led the technical aspect of the seminar and discussed the EASE Focus simulation and prediction program as well as different configurations and adjustments of D.A.S. Aero Series 2 line array systems.
