FB Technix invests in new D.A.S. Audio systems
D.A.S. Audio distributor in Austria K24 Technik & Vertrieb GmbH recently teamed up with customer FB Technix to organize a demo concert to present K24’s customers with the quality and power of D.A.S. Audios Event Line Array systems. FB Technix offers a full range of event production services, from stage decoration and lighting design to lighting and sound equipment rental, and with their recent purchase can now offer their clients two new D.A.S. Audio Event Line Array models, specifically the Event 210A and 218A systems.
When FB Technix decided to invest in a new professional sound system they turned to partner K24 Technik & Vertrieb GmbH, exclusive D.A.S. Audio distributor in Austria since 2013. FB Technix was in search of a small but powerful system that could fit a smaller budget and K24 didn’t hesitate to recommend the D.A.S. Event Line Arrays. These latest-generation systems have been designed to provide exceptional sound, steadfast reliability and unbeatable value, the perfect solution to FB Technix’s requirements.
FB Technix invested in 16 Event 210A, a powered, three-way system that features robust “quick-rig” professional rigging hardware and durable birch cabinets. These were matched with eight Event 218A powered high-performance subwoofers, also designed with the same durable birch construction and steel riggings for safe and precise flying. These systems, aimed at small to medium level sound reinforcement requirements, are ideal for use in both permanent installations as well as in mobile systems, giving FB Technix the range they were looking for at an affordable cost.
FB Technix lost little time taking their new Event Line Arrays for a test run and joined forces with K24 Technik & Vertrieb to put on a demo concert that gave D.A.S. distributor’s customers the chance to hear the power of these new systems live. Ska band Panteón Rococó from Mexico City and reggae band and Austrian newcomer of the year Souldja took to the stage for a unique night of superb music at the Alter Schlachthof venue in the city of Wels. FB Technix used their new Event systems as the main PA for the event, rigging a total of 12 Event 210A Line Arrays and eight of the Event 218A subwoofers on opposite sides of the stage. The sound was rounded out with two D.A.S. Action 12A compact multi-purpose systems, which handled nearfill duties.
The Panteón Rococó and Souldja concert was the first live gig for D.A.S. Audio Event Line Array systems in Austria and drew in a dedicated crowd of professionals and fans who were rocked by the powerful and precise sound of the D.A.S. cabinets. Daniel Pardo, Panteón Rococó Sound Engineer, had nothing but praise for the performance of the new Event systems. “I like the easy setup of the Event Line Array. You do not have to make big changes to the settings; you just plug and play and enjoy the great sound”.
