D.A.S. Audio’s newest subsidiary D.A.S. do Brasil has already attended its first industry event just days after opening its doors. The São Paulo-based sales and technical team participated in Brazil’s 32nd Expomusic, the can’t-miss music industry trade fair of the year celebrated at the city’s Expo Center Norte and attended by the world's largest manufacturers, Brazil’s top distributors and thousands of professionals and visitors.

The D.A.S. do Brasil team, with Guillermo Distéfano at the helm, presented the Spanish manufacturer’s latest developments in professional sound solutions at the event, held in a massive hall buzzing with the over 30,000 visitors who attended the three-day trade fair. Some 300 international brands took over 25,000 m² of space for this state-of-the-art exhibition, earning Expomusic the title as the largest music industry trade fair in Latin America for another year running.

The D.A.S. do Brasil booth showcased a range of D.A.S. products for the live sound market, including the hugely successful Aero 20A and 40A line array systems, part of D.A.S. Audio’s powered Aero Series 2 line, a new generation of D.A.S. systems designed specifically for sound touring. These were paired with the LX-218CA high-performance and UX-221 ultra-low frequency subwoofers, together with a section dedicated to DASnet™, where the team gave a series of live demos of this D.A.S.-designed remote monitoring software.

D.A.S. do Brasil displayed a selection of models in another area of the booth designed for products dedicated to the portable system market; this section featured the Event Line Arrays, systems that provide the perfect balance between exceptional sound, robust performance and value. Visitors could also check out a number of systems from the Vantec, Action and Artec series, versatile solutions that have become international sound reinforcement standards.

Expomusic coincided with the recent creation of the D.A.S. do Brasil subsidiary and provided the perfect opportunity to bring together the team in São Paulo with a number of visitors, including Gonzalo Aguirre, Regional Sales Rep for Latin America, and representatives from D.A.S. Audio Spain: Manuel Peris, company CFO, along with Eduardo López, Head of Strategic Projects, and Joel Damiano, systems engineer and member of the D.A.S. Audio Technical Department.

D.A.S. Audio’s outstanding reputation in Latin America was evidenced by the massive number of professionals and brand users who visited the D.A.S. do Brasil booth over the course of the event to discover the company’s newest products and speak with the brand’s reps.
