The seminar served to consolidate the vast network of Aero systems
D.A.S. Audio recently hosted a seminar in Miami, specifically aimed at Aero line array users from the Caribbean and the US. Over 100 people attended the event on October 8th at the Intercontinental West Miami Hotel's Doral Reception Hall. Much more than a technical seminar, the event was attended by every major company in the Caribbean and served to consolidate the vast network of Aero systems, America's best-selling line array system.
The speakers, D.A.S. Audio sound engineer, Javier Navarro and Gonzalo Aguirre, D.A.S. Sales Manager for Latin American and the Caribbean were joined by special guest speakers Ashok Maharaj the well-known Venezuelan independent professional audio consultant and Ulises Otero, US based Aero system user and owner of the firm Roxy Productions. On the other hand, the firma Centaurus Media Group managed by Jeronimo Terife, was invited to participate as a sponsor for the D.A.S. Audio training and introduced their newest original invention the HD Mobile Production Truck. This Mobile Production Truck is ideal for TV Production, Film Production, Concert Production, Theater, Corporate Events, Fashion Shows, Award Shows and Music Festivals (www.centaurus.cc)
The seminar's opening presentation and introduction of the participants was conducted by D. A. S. Audio International Sales Director, Jack Palacio. He went on to introduce Ashok Maharaj who delivered a presentation on the principles behind line array systems. Ulises Otero centred his speech on a detailed explanation about Aero 28, 38 and 48 systems while Javier Navarro gave a talk about Variant systems and applications as well as Ease Focus acoustic measurement software. After brunch the sessions resumed with Ashok Maharaj's presentation about the class-D amplifier. The morning continued with Javier Navarro presenting the new LX-18 and LX-218A self-powered sub-woofer systems and following a break for lunch, Navarro returned to deliver a speech about the subwoofers and acoustic measurement.
A Power Point presentation was projected during the seminar showing various Aero line array applications throughout the world and Juan Alberola, Director and founder of D.A.S. Audio, presented diplomas to all the participants. The day concluded with a live open-air performance by reggae band Rough House on a stage powered by Aero 38A line array systems and powered LX-218A subwoofer units and a farewell cocktail followed.
