D.A.S. sound systems once again took the stage at "Bluescazorla", Spain´s top blues´ festival. This year´s event boasted such headliners as Raimundo Amador, Lone Rhino Club, Dr. Feelgood and James Hunter, amongst others. The stages set up at the Jaen town of Cazorla hosted a record number of attendees over the three day festival.

As in recent years, D.A.S. sound systems were the key performers of the festival thanks to the team of professionals from SR company "Decibelios Andújar", headed by Francisco José Morcillo and José Antonio Cano. In charge of the sound for the "Auditorium", located in the Parque del Cristo and the "Gambrinus" stage located in the Plaza de Santa Maria.

D.A.S. 28A powered line array systems were used for the concerts. The main system was made up of sixteen Aero 28A units, arranged in two arrays of eight units per side, complemented by eight D.A.S. CA-215A powered subwoofers. The entire system was controlled by a Yamaha M7 CL mixing board.

D.A.S. Compact series powered systems were deployed for the Gambrinus stage. A total of four Compact 2 mid-high systems and four 218 Sub 2K bass reinforcement units were used. The equipment was completed with the use of D.A.S. SML-12A powered monitors, which met the needs of the different performing musicians who took the stage during the festival.

Of special note was the power of Raimundo Amador´s live performance on this intimate stage as he played "Gerundina", his famous guitar. Amador, who was given this year's Bluescazorla Award, is the first Spanish artist to ever receive this recognition. Undoubtedly, top performances like Amador´s have made the Bluescazorla event one of the most prestigious festivals in Spain.
