Aero in Korea
Ansan First College is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the country
Over the year, the capabilities of the Aero line array system have proved to be extremely successful among D.A.S. Audio's international customers. All around the world, the Aero "line array" system is demonstrating its high performance, top linearity and outstanding power for both live outdoor events and fixed installations. "Kusan Acoustic Co. Ltd", is particularly keen on these D.A.S. line array systems. In fact, it was one of the first companies to install Aero systems in places of worship with excellent results.
This time Aero's efficiency was put to the test at the new auditorium of Ansan First College in South Korea, one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the country. With a seating capacity of 2,400, the venue is located in the city of Ansan - in the province of Gyeonggi - and was opened in early February. A total of sixteen amplified, two-way compact array modules make up the auditorium's PA system, 8 of which are mounted at each side of the stage and reinforced by several amplified CA-215A modules.
"The Aero sound system has given the venue an incredible acoustic coverage all over the seating area as well as crystal clear sound", claims Kusan's Roy Curtis. In order to reinforce the sound at the sides and to provide on-stage monitoring, Kusan used DS 115 units from the Dynamics series, amplified by D.A.S. H and Energy series power amps.
