Aero 12A debuts in Germany

All of the technicians were extremely satisfied with the new Aero 12A

The German city of Meissen, known for being the porcelain centre of Europe, recently hosted the premiere of the new Aero 12A line array systems in Germany. Around 2,500 people gathered at an outdoor esplanade on the outskirts of the city to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the legendary group "Stern Combo Meissen". Songs like "Der Kampf um den Südpol", "Der weite Weg" or their classic adaptations were part of the musical trends of the 70s in Germany. Joining them on their anniversary were guests "Musix", "Dirk Zöllner" and "KlosterBrüder".

"Licht & Ton Union", D.A.S. distributor in Germany, was responsible for mounting the audio on a stage built especially for the occasion. They flew twelve Aero 12A two-way powered systems, six on either side of the stage, along with 6 ground stacked LX-218A subwoofers. The Aero 12A, part of the new Aero Series2 debuted at Frankfurt´s "Prolight & Sound". Designed for easy handling, precise coverage, and high acoustic output, the latest Class D amplification, digital signal processing and D.A.S. optimised components have been combined in the Aero 12A.

as they provided exceptional performance. The technicians were similarly impressed with the power of the LX-218A subwoofers which demonstrated their awesome capabilities during this live event. "Without a doubt, the new subwoofers provide the Aero systems with yet another precision tool and higher sound quality," comments "Licht & Ton Union" director Andreas Riedel.

The signal processing was carried out by means of the DSP-2060, a powerful audio processor ideal for installation and live sound applications. Optimised converters, 2 inputs and 6 outputs, 9 full bandwidth parametric bands available for every output, a large memory capacity, large display, power supply switch...these are just some of the features that make the new DSP-2060 the ideal way to combine the functions of multiple conventional products in one compact unit.

Both Jack Palacio, Export Sales Director and Joan La Roda, D.A.S. Audio engineer, attended the premiere, which practically coincided with the celebration of the Showtech Berlin fair, where "Licht & Tom Union" had a stand presenting the latest D.A.S. products.
