In Europe, D.A.S. pioneers the use of high-density structural polymers for the construction of acoustic enclosures. New materials and advanced production methods facilitate unique cabinet designs that differentiate D.A.S. products from those of its competitors and place the company at the forefront of European manufacturers.
Throughout the 90′s, D.A.S. continues to evolve across the world with distribution on all of the five continents. In order to provide quicker and more efficient logistics on the American continent, D.A.S. establishes a subsidiary in the United States, which takes responsibility for sales and distribution of D.A.S. products in North, South and Central America. In Asia, D.A.S. handles sales and distribution from its base in Singapore.
On the home front, D.A.S. secures its position as the leading Spanish manufacturer of sound reinforcement equipment with the launch of the Biflex 8, which incorporated a speaker enclosure made from high-density structural polymers. Its tremendous success spawned the development of a complete line of small to medium sized sound systems for a vast array of audio applications. The DS-15 was the first injection molded 15″ loudspeaker system manufactured in Europe and remains a worldwide leader by virtue of its exceptional sound quality.
The D.A.S. product line includes a vast array of products offering versatility and solutions for the contractor, sound rental companies, and the working musician. Sound quality and design are the common characteristics of the D.A.S. product range. The in-house manufacture of the loudspeaker components utilized in D.A.S. sound systems empowers the company with quality levels and cost efficiency matched by only a few.
The 90′s is a decade of experimentation, of investment in the development of new production techniques, and of consolidation as a leader in the production of sound reinforcement products. A decade of industrial “muscle building” that would provide D.A.S. with an impressive manufacturing prowess.
